CTOnews.com, September 30 (Xinhua)-- 20th Century Pictures announced today that production of "rise of the Planet of the Apes: the Kingdom" will begin next month, directed by Weisbauer of the moving Maze series, and will open a new chapter in the classic sci-fi series many years after the end of "rise of the Planet of the Apes: the Ultimate Battle."

According to foreign media reports, the timeline of the film will be released in 2024 many years after rising of the Planet of the Apes: the Ultimate Battle.

CTOnews.com learned that rising Planet of the Apes was released on Chinese mainland on October 28, 2011, the sequel rising of the Planet of the Apes: battle of the Dawn was released in North America on July 11, 2014, and that rising of the Planet of the Apes 3: ultimate Battle was released in the United States on July 14, 2017.

At present, the scores of the three rising parts of the Planet of the Apes are 8.1, 7.1 and 6.9 respectively.
