Sichuan Yibin-Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railway has entered the construction stage of ballastless track with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour.
CTOnews.com, October 5, according to CCTV news, it was learned from Xikun Company of Beijing-Kunming High-speed Railway that the first ballastless track of Chongqing-Kunming High-speed Railway (Chongqing-Kunming High-speed Railway) was successfully constructed on the Yanjiayuan Bridge in Nanxi District, Yibin City, Sichuan Province. This also indicates that the Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railway has entered the comprehensive construction stage of ballastless track, which has laid a solid foundation for the follow-up rail laying operation.
Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railway is an important part of Beijing-Kunming high-speed railway, which is one of the main channels of "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway in China's medium-and long-term railway planning. It is designed with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour. The construction cycle of Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railway is 6 years. The track projects of Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railway are all CRTS double-block ballastless tracks. The track structure is composed of 60-type rail, WJ-8B fastener, SK-2 sleeper, bed plate and base from top to bottom.
CTOnews.com learned that the Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railway is 699km long, starting from Chongqing West Railway Station, via Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan provinces, connecting Kunming South Railway Station, with a total of 21 stations planned.
