Beijing time on October 10 morning news, It is reported that the United States NFT (non-homogeneous token) trading platform "OpenSea" Chief Financial Officer Brian Roberts (Brian Roberts) recently said that he has left the company.

Roberts, who revealed the news on LinkedIn, resigned just 10 months after joining OpenSea.

In the future, Roberts will serve as an adviser to the company, and Justin Jow, OpenSea's vice president of finance, will succeed Roberts as CFO.

An OpenSea spokesman said Roberts was invited to continue in his advisory role after his departure. Roberts has so far not commented to the press.

Roberts said he remains confident about the future of Web 3.0 and OpenSea in particular.

Earlier, Roberts worked for Lyft, one of the two largest online ride-hailing giants in the United States, as chief financial officer for seven years. At the end of last year, he joined OpenSea.

Roberts 'move into the cryptocurrency market is not unique. In recent years, the U.S. technology industry has set off a wave of personnel changes, with many executives and engineers of large technology companies leaving to seek new career opportunities in the new virtual currency and blockchain markets.

However, in the past six months or so, the global cryptocurrency market has suffered a cold winter, various cryptocurrencies have plummeted, and the trading volume of the NFT trading platform has also fallen sharply.

In the past 30 days, OpenSea has traded just $247 million, down almost 90 percent from $2.5 billion in December, according to DappRadar, a market research firm.

Ryan Foutty, OpenSea's vice president of business development, recently posted on LinkedIn that he had left the company 18 months after joining. Earlier, Foutty worked for electric scooter rental company Lime for two years and Uber for four years, mainly responsible for business development.
