Samsung launches 25 5G phones in Brazil to capture the market

CTOnews.com, Oct. 10, according to SamMobile, the 5G network service in Brazil is in its infancy and is available in 27 cities. In order to capture the market, Samsung has launched 25 5G phones to Brazil, covering the high-end to low-end price range.

The 5G Galaxy phones available to Samsung in Brazil include devices from the Galaxy M and Galaxy A series, as well as flagship Galaxy S series, Galaxy Z series folding screen phones, and now retired Galaxy Note series phones. They are:

SamMobile said Samsung's broadest portfolio of 5G smartphones for its customers in Brazil should help it maintain its leading position in the country's mobile phone industry in the emerging 5G era.

CTOnews.com learned that in September 2021, Brazil passed the final version of the decree on 5G, and in November 2021, the Brazilian National Telecommunications Agency held an auction of operating licenses for the 5G band, and three Brazilian telecom operators won the bid. According to Brazil's National Telecommunications Agency, 5G network coverage in Brazil will reach 81% by 2030.
