CTOnews.com October 11 news, after rumors that Microsoft is developing a streaming device that will allow users to stream games and videos at the same time, but has not been exposed more information.

However, it seems that Microsoft Xbox director Phil Spencer personally leaked the device, and in a tweet celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Fallout series, he posted part of his shelf, which contains multiple consoles, controllers, and tablets.

In addition to these regular items, we can see a small white box at the top of the picture, which looks different from all current Xbox consoles, only slightly larger than the Xbox controller. Tom Warren, editor of The Verge, said it could be the Xbox streaming box, codenamed "Keystone."

CTOnews.com learned that this isn't the first time Spencer has quietly warmed up before an official product launch. Spencer took a similar approach to showcasing the Xbox Series S console ahead of Microsoft's next-generation console launch in November 2020. Before announcing his collaboration with Hideo Kojima, he also showed off the mascot of Kojima Studio.

Microsoft is currently pushing its Xbox cloud gaming service, and one way Microsoft plans to do that is by working with manufacturers to add cloud gaming to smart TVs. Microsoft is also developing streaming devices that users can plug into a TV or computer monitor and stream games from the cloud.
