In May this year, Tencent just sued vivo, another domestic mobile phone manufacturer, in the Intermediate people's Court of Jinan, also for unfair competition on the Internet. Tencent YingYongBao accused vivo of taking advantage of the underlying system of the phone to restrict users from downloading and installing applications normally by inserting pop-up windows, text, buttons, and setting risk detection, as well as downloading and installing applications through YingYongBao, and at the same time induce users to download or install applications from the app store that comes with vivo, so as to gain more traffic and commercial benefits.

In May 2017, Tencent complained to the Wuhan intellectual property Court that OPPO users would be forced to sign up for an OPPO account once they downloaded "Tencent Mobile Manager". The company believes that the commercial technical means of producing OPPO mobile phones interfere with the normal operation of the software and constitute unfair competition. Since then, Tencent has also sued the matter to the court, asking the respondent to compensate 80 million of the loss. Finally, after repeated communication by the judge, Tencent withdrew the lawsuit on its own initiative, shook hands and made peace, and signed an agreement on deep cooperation.
