Meta acquires three game developers to create more resources for Quest Pro, including Marvel's Iron Man VR
CTOnews.com October 12 news, in the local time on Tuesday's annual VR conference Meta Connect, Meta officially announced the acquisition of Camouflaj, Armature Studio and Twisted Pixel three game developers.
CTOnews.com learned that Armature Studio was founded in 2008 and is famous for developing the VR version of biochemical Evil 4 and the recently released Where the Heart Leads, which also includes the Core recasting series.
Founded in 2011, Camouflaj is the studio behind Marvel's Iron Man VR and has developed the adventure game R é publique for the console and PC. It has been revealed that the studio has partnered with Marvel Entertainment, Endeavor One and Sony Interactive Entertainment to release the Meta Quest 2 version of Iron Man VR on November 3.
Twisted Pixel, the creator of The Maw, Splosion Man and Ms. Splosion Man, Comic Jumper, The Gunstringer, Wilson's Heart, and the classic VR game Path of the Warrior, joined Microsoft after five years of independence in October 2011, but separated from the company in September 2015 to become an independent studio again.
