CTOnews.com, October 13, according to an obituary released by Huawei, Ding Yun, vice chairman of Huawei's supervisory board, died of a sudden illness in the early morning of October 7. Ding Yun held many positions before his death, including the chief cadre minister of Huawei, the president of enterprise BG and the president of operator BG. His two core businesses contributed more than 60% of Huawei's total revenue. After Ding Yun's death, Huawei also began to undergo a new round of personnel adjustments.

Huawei announced its latest personnel appointment today, with Li Peng as president of operator BG, according to Interface News. According to public information, Li Peng previously served as president of Huawei's southern Africa region and president of Huawei's Western European regional department.

It is worth mentioning that yesterday Huawei's official Wechat released a promotional video about the 13th Global Mobile Broadband Forum, in which Li Peng issued an invitation in his capacity as president of Huawei operator BG.

CTOnews.com learned that Huawei is divided into three major BG: operator, terminal and enterprise business, as well as cloud, digital energy, smart car solution BU and other business units. Huawei has not yet announced who will take over as president of the company's BG.
