CTOnews.com October 15 news, in July this year, Minisforum released the UM580 mini mainframe overseas, which is equipped with R7 5800H and supports USB-C one-line connection. Now, this mini mainframe has been put on the shelves JD.com, quasi-system configuration of 2799 yuan.

CTOnews.com learned that the AMD R7 5800H is an 8-core and 16-thread specification with a basic frequency of 3.2 GHz and a boost frequency of up to 4.4GHz, with a three-level cache of 16MB.

This mini host length 12.8cm, wide 12.66cm, high 4.65cm, up to support 64GB DDR4 dual-channel memory, can install a M.2 2280 PCIe slot and a 2.5-inch hard drive.

In terms of interface, the mini host can output video through 2xHDMI and 2xUSB-C, and the USB-C interface behind it also supports PD power supply, which can be connected to an adaptive display. Other interfaces include a 2.5G network port and four USB-An interfaces.

It is important to note that the mini-host in principle supports USB-C 1-wire displays, but officials say that given that most USB-C monitors do not have 100W reverse power, it is recommended to use USB-C power adapters to power down during high loads.
