CTOnews.com, October 16 (Xinhua)-- David Grivel, the director in charge of the remake of the game "Cell Division", has announced his departure from Ubisoft, where he has worked for 11 years.

Grivel previously developed Operation Ghost: the Warrior of the Future at Ubisoft's Paris studio, and then moved to Ubisoft's Toronto studio to participate in the development of the series "Cell Division 6: blacklist", "Assassin's Creed: the Great Revolution", "isolated Island Horror on 4-5-6" and directing the upcoming remake of "divided cells".

CTOnews.com learned that in December last year, Ubisoft announced that it would launch a remake of "Cell Division", produced by the Ubisoft team in Toronto and developed using the snow lotus engine.

Ubisoft's "Cell Division" series was first released in 2003, and players can manipulate the protagonist Sam Sam Fisher to perform a variety of secret tasks. The last installment, Cell Division 6: blacklist, went on sale in 2013.

According to producer Matt West, although this "cell division" is a repetition, it is not just a simple reproduction. "We are trying to ensure that the spirit of the early game remains the same and adopt a new way to let people know about cell division."
