Recently, it has been reported that the Douyin platform will officially change the name of Shadowia to Douyin Movie tickets.

It is reported that unlike Cat's Eye and ticket scavenging, which are directly aimed at C-end users, Shadowian serves the enterprise platform, mainly state-owned enterprises, central enterprises and other institutions, providing corporate customers with movie ticket group buying and online seat selection services. one of the major advantages of the platform is access to more than 8000 cinemas in China.

During the Spring Festival last year, Douyin announced that it would invest 400 million yuan to subsidize movie tickets, which were eventually sold through Maoyan and Taobaopiao, where user data were also deposited on the two platforms. Now, Douyin can complete the transformation on its own platform and realize the closed loop on the site.
