Google officials are embarrassed: being caught using iPhone to promote the new Pixel 7 series

CTOnews.com, Oct. 20, today, Google's social media team on Twitter was found to be using iPhone to promote the latest Pixel 7 series of flagship phones.

When posting information about the latest Pixel series, the word "Twitter for iPhone" appeared at the bottom of Google Pixel's official tweet, which was quickly deleted. Obviously, competitors' products should not be used when promoting their own products.

Apple CEO Tim Cook announced M2 iPad Pro on Twitter on October 18, and Google Pixel responded to the tweet on October 20, promoting the latest Pixel model and NBA. This time, however, its social media team was cautious, using a Web release of Twitter instead of iPhone.

CTOnews.com learned that Samsung's team had made similar mistakes before. In January last year, Samsung was caught using iPhone to promote its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, and made the same mistake when promoting the Galaxy Note 9 display in 2018.
