CTOnews.com, October 24-Google's annual Android Development Summit has been held for seven years, and Android Dev Summit 2022 will be held on Monday, October 24, US time (Tuesday, October 25, Beijing time), giving developers the opportunity to learn directly from Google's Android team how to build the best applications for the platform.

CTOnews.com learned that the event itself includes live online keynote speeches, covering modern Android development (Modern Android Development, or MAD), Form Factors and platforms. For the rest of 2022, each of these topics will be accessible online, and activities will be held in multiple locations.

MAD is the first theme of the summit that begins on October 24, covering a range of topics around the development of Android 13, the latest version of Android. These topics include custom views, baseline profiles, best practices for navigation, and so on.

The next topic, Form Factors, will be covered when the Android Development Summit moves to the next location, London. On November 9th, this will delve deeper into Wear OS and other Form Factors using the core Android engine, and it's not surprising that Google will focus on this area through this meeting because of the recently released Pixel Watch.

Finally, the final topic announced will cover platforms, which will focus on migrating applications to Android 13 and building them for multilingual users. This will be held on November 14. Finally, there will be more events in Asia during December, but the timetable or themes to be covered have not yet been officially announced.
