CTOnews.com October 26 news, after the burning of the 16pin (12VHPWR) power connector on the Nvidia RTX 4090 graphics card, AMD's Scott Herkelman confirmed in response to netizens' comments that neither the RX 6000 nor the upcoming RX 7000 series graphics cards will use this interface.

According to previous revelations, AMD's new Navi 3X GPU-based graphics card will still use dual 8pin power connectors. The high-end non-public version may use a three-8pin power connector.

CTOnews.com learned that AMD has now announced that it will hold a launch of the RX 7000 series graphics cards at 4 p.m. est, that is, 4 a.m. Beijing time on November 4. Officials have given a preheat map of the RX 7000 public graphics card, but the picture does not reveal its power supply interface.
