The offshore installation operation was completed by the Bluewhale crane ship and CNOOC 278 and CNOOC 221 carriers. It took 17 days to lift three offshore electric power platforms with a total weight of about 13400 tons. Each block has four decks and one aircraft deck. Among them, the largest Bozhong 34-1 shore power block is as high as 11 stories and the projected area is the size of 6.7 basketball courts. The lower deck is equipped with China's largest offshore main transformer and China's first largest dual-bus complete GIS equipment.

According to reports, the offshore power platform is the core facility of the shore power application project. As an important transfer station connecting the offshore and onshore power grids, it can step down the high voltage transmitted by the onshore substation and then send it to each production platform, providing green shore power for each production platform of the offshore oil field group.
