In the third quarter of 2022, Opera's revenue reached $85.3 million (about 618 million yuan), up 28% from a year earlier, while adjusted EBITDA reached $21.4 million (about 155 million yuan), up 161% from a year earlier.

During the reporting period, Opera's third-quarter search revenue reached $35.4 million (about 257 million yuan), up 15% from a year earlier, and advertising revenue was $49.1 million (about 356 million yuan), up 41% from a year earlier. In the third quarter, the number of monthly active users of Opera GX game browser PC and mobile exceeded 18 million.

CTOnews.com learned that the report pointed out that the global average monthly active users of Opera in the current quarter was 321 million, user growth in the core market remained stable, and user growth in the Americas market maintained strong growth. In addition, the user base in emerging markets has stabilized and ARPU levels have improved significantly.

Looking ahead, Opera expects revenue of $88 million (about 638 million yuan) to $91 million (about 660 million yuan) in the fourth quarter of 2022, while adjusted EBITDA is expected to range from $17 million (about 123 million yuan) to $1900 million (about 138 million yuan).

In addition, Opera raised its full-year performance forecast to forecast revenue of $323 million (about 2.342 billion yuan)-$326 million (about 2.364 billion yuan) in 2022, higher than the previous forecast of $313 million-$319 million. The adjusted EBITDA is expected to be between $62 million (about 450 million yuan) and $64 million (about 464 million yuan), up from the previous estimate of $53 million to $60 million.
