Tesla Texas Super Factory is located in Austin, about a 15-minute drive from downtown Austin. Construction was determined in July 2020. Construction began soon after the location was determined. After nearly two years of construction, a grand opening ceremony was held on April 7 this year. It is planned to be used in the production of Model Y and electric pickup truck Cybertruck,Model Y models that start production first. It is also the only model produced and delivered by this super factory at present.
