Apple has suspended almost all hiring until September next year, three people familiar with the matter reported today.

Employees in various Apple departments have been told that the company will not hire new employees in the coming months, possibly until the end of the current fiscal year, in September 2023, these people familiar with the matter said.

One of the people familiar with the matter said the hiring freeze affected full-time employees within the company. Of course, retail and other departments are still likely to add some sales staff before the start of the Christmas shopping season.

The person also said that Apple had "no budget" to increase its staff in the coming year. It can be said that recruitment is in a "frozen" state.
