According to introduction, the key cap of V5 mechanical keyboard adopts black and low saturation light blue contrast design, red esc key and red enter key are embellished, matched with black matte shell, the overall shape is stable and fashionable. The body is available in black matte and translucent matte black versions. The keyboard configuration is also available in knob version and normal version. Users can choose according to their own preferences and needs.

V5 mechanical keyboard adopts OSA PBT two-color injection molding keycap, the surface has matte texture, delicate and dry touch. PBT material has high heat resistance, toughness, fatigue resistance, low friction, will not appear after a long time to use oil, feel decline problems.

CTOnews.com learned that this keyboard shaft uses Keychron's own K Pro shaft, and the big keys also use a locked satellite shaft scheme, which makes it more stable to hit. There are three types of K Pro shafts: red shaft/tea shaft/green shaft.

Functionally, this keyboard supports QMK / VIA key change, hot plug, self-assembly. With QMK / VIA open source keys, you can easily program every key on your keyboard, and open source firmware means keyboard layouts, shortcut keys, and more can be customized.
