"Sonic unknown Frontier" supports AMD FSR technology on Nintendo Switch and is officially available five days later.
CTOnews.com, November 3 (Xinhua)-- after Nintendo Switch Sports, Spratt 3 and Strange Life: nature, another NS game that supports AMD FSR technology will be launched soon.
Twitter user @ Naruki delved into often overlooked intellectual property claims and found that the pre-ordered version of "Sonic unknown Frontier" mentioned references to FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR).
It remains to be seen how Sonic unknown Frontier will use FSR, but it is certainly hoped that Sega will use it to provide Switch players with stronger performance without significantly reducing visual effects. But oddly enough, Sega has yet to confirm the use of DLSS and FSR technologies on other, more powerful platforms.
It's worth mentioning that while none of Nintendo's first-party games seem to use this technology, Strange Life: nature does make good use of it and manages to squeeze the consistent 30fps performance of desktop platform 1080p out of Switch.
CTOnews.com has learned that "Sonic unknown Frontier" will be released on November 8, 2022 and supports simplified Chinese, when it will be launched on the PlayStation 5 Universe 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One / Series X | S, PC (Steam) platforms.
