Musk revealed that he now works 17 hours a day to manage several companies at the same time.
Beijing, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) after becoming the boss of Twitter, Elon Musk (Elon Musk) now manages multiple companies at the same time, so how long does he have to work a week and how can he be multi-tasked?
Before Musk bought Twitter, Musk already ran Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, a brain-computer interface company, and The Boring Company, a tunneling company. Now he is the new boss of Twitter and serves as CEO and sole director.
On Friday, Musk delivered a speech at the 29th annual Barron Investment Conference. Ron Baron, founder of Barron Capital Group, the host of the conference, asked him how he had dealt with the new responsibility. Barron is currently a shareholder in Tesla, SpaceX and Twitter.
"my workload has increased from about 78 hours a week to maybe 120 hours a week (an average of 17 hours a day)," Mr Musk told Mr Barron. "once Twitter is on track, I think it is much easier to manage than SpaceX or Tesla."
He did not say who would replace him as Twitter CEO, if any, although he told fans on Twitter that his position as sole director and CEO of the social network was temporary.
In addition, he reiterated at the conference that Tesla still intends to develop electric cars that are cheaper than the entry-level Model 3. He also reiterated his goal of producing 40,000 cars a day.
