CTOnews.com, November 7, according to Interface News, at the 2022REAL Technology Conference, Zhong Yilin, vice president of BYD Automotive Engineering Research Institute, said that the sales and penetration of smart cars with L2 and above in China are growing rapidly, up to 24.5 times higher than in 2017. From the perspective of the trend of L2 permeability in different price ranges, the increase in the range of 20-300000 is the largest, approaching the first range above 1 million.

CTOnews.com learned that the highest level of self-driving vehicles on the domestic market is still L2. According to the marketing content of automobile enterprises, most of the auxiliary driving systems can cover driving, reversing, car use and other daily scenes.

In terms of intelligence, at present, some models of the Qin, Tang, Song, Yuan and Ocean series of BYD Dynasty series are equipped with L2-level intelligent driving assistance functions, as well as intelligent pilot Dipilot, which can not only achieve an increase in sales, but also create a better practical experience for users.

In April this year, BYD launched four new Han family cars, namely, Han EV Genesis, Han EV Qianshan Cui Limited Edition, Han DM-i and Han DM-p. The DiPilot intelligent driving assistance system is equipped with up to 24 sensing elements, adding highway driving assistance, emergency lane maintenance assistance, intelligent comity and other functions, reaching the L2 level of self-driving.
