CTOnews.com learned that the China Meteorological Administration said that aircraft meteorological observation, mainly high-altitude large UAV, is an important part of space-based observation, which has the advantages of rapid response, strong mobility, and the ability to work continuously in harsh environments or places that are difficult for human beings to reach, and can be combined with other observation methods to form a three-dimensional observation network from high altitude to the ground.

According to reports, the "gas exploration Ⅱ" high-altitude large UAV is an important achievement in meteorological modernization and high-quality development, and will provide breakthrough solutions for key tasks such as marine meteorological target observation, plateau meteorological exploration, mobile observation of major meteorological disasters, and meteorological satellite authenticity verification.
