China's first Wi-Fi 7 routing organ announcement, Xinhua 3 H3C Magic BE18000 will be released soon
CTOnews.com November 11 news, Xinhua three today announced China's first Wi-Fi 7 router-H3C Magic BE18000, pricing and launch date to be determined.
According to reports, H3C Magic BE18000 carries a new generation of Qualcomm professional chips, uses Wi-Fi 7's latest wireless protocol technology, has a wireless rate of 18000m, supports the 2.4GHz / 5.1GHz / 5.8GHz band (the domestic version does not support the 6GHz band), and is equipped with three sets of directional antennas and 10G high-speed network ports.
CTOnews.com learned that the router appeared at the Expo just a few days ago, carrying Qualcomm's flagship Networking Pro 1220 platform, two 10-gigabit (10 GbE) and three gigabit (1 GbE) ports, three directional antennas and 16-channel signal amplifiers.
According to Qualcomm, Wi-Fi 7 further improves performance such as speed, latency and network capacity based on a series of iconic features, enabling new experiences and use cases. Among them, Wi-Fi 7 multi-connection technology based on high-frequency concurrent HBS extends 4-channel dual-band concurrent technology to high-frequency band, bringing aggregate throughput and optimal low-latency performance, while releasing 2.4GHz low-frequency band to make room for Bluetooth and Internet of things applications.
While the product may not support all the features of the official Wi-Fi 7 standard, which is scheduled for final implementation next year, it at least has features such as 320MHz wide channel, 4K-QAM modulation, and multilink operation.
In terms of specifications, BE18000 (overseas version) has a 4 × 4 three-band Wi-Fi antenna configuration. And thanks to the 320MHz wide channel support introduced by Wi-Fi 7, it can achieve amazing speeds on the following tri-bands:
● has a maximum PHY rate of 1148 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band.
● is 5765 Mbps in the 5 GHz band
The ● is 11530 Mbps on channel 6 GHz.
As for 4K-QAM modulation, it can reduce the interference of nearby client devices and increase the rate by 20% compared with the 1024-QAM scheme. Simultaneous multilink operation (Multi-Link Operation) allows simultaneous utilization of multiple frequency bands and selection of the least congested frequency bands has reduced latency.
