During the Singles Day holiday, AliExpress App topped the list in Han Chong.
CTOnews.com, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) during the Singles' Day, AliExpress, a cross-border e-commerce platform from China, became the most downloaded shopping APP in South Korea, surpassing Coupang, the most popular local e-commerce platform, according to App Annie.
Since the beginning of this year, the Korean market has become a new competitive point for cross-border e-commerce, and AliExpress has also built Yantai warehouses and other preferred warehouses specifically for the Korean market. To increase its market share in South Korea, AliExpress has invested 10 billion won (US $7 million) this year to launch a three-to five-day delivery service and product price reduction service in South Korea.
According to the statistics of Korea Consumer Institute in August last year, AliExpress and Amazon, iHerb, eBay and Qoo10 have become the five most commonly used overseas direct purchase websites for Koreans.
