CTOnews.com, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) Qualcomm has hinted that Samsung's next-generation flagship phone, the Galaxy S23 series, will all use Snapdragon processors, which seems to be confirmed by the latest running information.

Today, the SM-S918B of Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra appears in the Geekbench 5 running score. The CPU message shows Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and it is the high-frequency version of 3.36GHz, with a single-core running score of 1504 and a multi-core running score of 4580.

CTOnews.com learned that the North American, South American, BOC, African and Indian versions of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series carry the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, while the European version and some specific Asian market versions carry the Exynos 2200 processor.

With Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra European version switching to Snapdragon chip, it seems that the last "territory" of Exynos is gone. However, this seems to be a good thing for European users. After all, Samsung Galaxy S22's Exynos 2200 processor has received a lot of poor reviews in terms of performance and experience.
