According to CTOnews.com, November 17, iPhone and iPad users have taken screenshots through a combination of physical buttons over the past few years. However, in recent version changes, iPadOS has added a way to take screenshots without pressing any physical buttons.

CTOnews.com learned that the most common way for iPad users to take screenshots is the combination of physical keys. For iPad, which still has a Home button, users can take screenshots by pressing the power button and the Home button at the same time; for the new iPad, they can press the side button and any volume button at the same time.

What many iPad users may not know is that iPadOS also provides two operations that do not rely on physical buttons to take screenshots.

The first way is to use Apple Pencil to swipe from the lower left corner of the screen to achieve the screenshot. If you don't have Apple Pencil, the second way is to do it through gestures, as follows:

Open the settings application on iPad

Go to the General menu and select the gesture option

Turn on allow fingers to slide from edges

Select the action you want when sliding from the lower left and lower right corner
