CTOnews.com, Nov. 17 (Xinhua)-- Astropad today updated its Astropad Studio app, adding Apple Pencil hover to the new iPad Pro with M2 chip.

CTOnews.com learned that Astropad Studio is an application that turns iPad into a drawing board for Mac and Windows devices, and users can use hover gestures in a variety of macOS software on iPad.

Astropad said that Wacom artboards already provide similar features, and iPad users have been eager to get Apple Pencil hover over the past few years.

This update also adds 3D gestures for panning, zooming, and rotating 3D canvases, and introduces new default shortcuts. This update also introduces a new Magic Gestures gesture that combines clicks, touches and Apple Pencil stylus to trigger actions.

Astropad Studio uses a subscription system and currently enjoys a 30% discount with an annual fee of $70.
