CTOnews.com, Nov. 18, Microsoft usually releases one preview of Win11 every week, sometimes even two. However, Microsoft seems to be having trouble with version changes recently, and Microsoft today confirmed that there is no Win11 Dev update this week, which is the second consecutive week that Microsoft has not released a version update.

CTOnews.com learned that the most recent version received by Dev channel users of the Windows Insider project was Windows 11 Build 25236, which was released on November 1, 2022.

Microsoft then released a service pipeline update for the update channel, and the user installed the version number 25236.1010 (KB5021116). The so-called service pipeline update is mainly to test whether the Windows Update update is smooth, and will not contain any new content.

Netizens asked on Twitter whether there will be a preview update of Win11 this week, and the official Windows Insider account once again gave a negative answer.

While users looking forward to the new Win11 preview may be disappointed to hear this message, there are still a lot of leaks to watch out for recently. For example, Microsoft plans to add the "never merge" option to the taskbar, and display the number of seconds in the taskbar notification area, and so on.
