CTOnews.com, November 19 (Xinhua)-- with the help of an enthusiastic fan community, Xbox Live 1.0 unofficial service Insignia launched today, offering a total of 25 games. Insignia is a free service for the original Xbox game console, which replicates Xbox Live 1.0 and offers the same features, including online multiplayer games.

Insignia is still in the testing stage and can only be joined by invitation, with only a few thousand members. Interested people can register on the Insignia website and wait for the invitation.

CTOnews.com learned that the Insignia service is currently compatible with 25 games, including "MechAssault", "Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II", "Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge" and so on. The service adds some new games regularly every month. The Insignia website says it intends to eventually support the entire Xbox game library.
