Guoxing Optoelectronics: wholly owned subsidiary Guoxing Semiconductor launches new products of automotive LED chips.

CTOnews.com November 21 news, today, Guoxing Optoelectronics said that LED vehicle lighting is rapidly expanding its market share in new energy vehicles in recent years because of its remarkable characteristics such as low power consumption and high light efficiency.

According to reports, Guoxing Semiconductor, a wholly owned subsidiary of Guoxing Optoelectronics, focuses on the R & D and manufacture of epitaxial materials and chips, aiming at the application field of automotive headlights, launching a new series of high-power flip LED chip A8 products to provide customized automotive LED chip solutions for the new energy electric vehicle market.

A8 series products achieve a single crystal voltage drop of more than 0.06V under high current (2A-3A), an increase of about 30% of the bearable high current, and a decrease of about 10 ℃ of junction temperature. CTOnews.com learned that Guoxing Optoelectronics said that the new series of high-power flip LED chip A8 has been mass-produced and is in stable supply.

According to TrendForce data, LED headlamp penetration has reached 60% of the world's passenger vehicles in 2021, with electric vehicles having a higher LED headlamp penetration rate of 90%, which is expected to rise to 72% and 92% respectively in 2022.
