Google says it uses the slide tool Slides on the tablet to drag text and pictures from slides to other apps in split-screen mode.

Google Keep and other apps have added this feature before, so it should be available in Google Workspace applications.

CTOnews.com learned that the new version of Google Drive not only optimizes drag and drop operations on tablets, but also makes it easier to drag and drop files and folders. Users only need to open two Google Drive at the same time in split-screen mode, so they can drag and drop some files from one file path to another.

Google Docs has full mouse support on Android tablets. This allows tablet users to use the same full mouse functionality they have on the web. This means that you can now click and drag the text to select that section instead of panning the entire document.
