CTOnews.com, August 13, according to the State Energy Group, the latest generation of DLZ-HV-200 high-efficiency plasma ignition and stable combustion system has recently been successfully operated in Unit 2 of Jiangxi Shenhua Jiujiang Power Generation Company, marking the first successful application of the latest generation of high-efficiency lightweight plasma ignition and stable combustion system in million kilowatt coal-fired generating units.

CTOnews.com learned that the latest generation of efficient lightweight plasma ignition and stable combustion system adopted by Unit 2 of Jiangxi Shenhua Jiujiang Power Company is based on the new plasma stable combustion technology.

The National Energy Group said that the new system technically uses DC air plasma as the ignition source to realize the cold start of oil-free ignition and combustion of the boiler, which has the characteristics of lightweight equipment, high reliability and good economy. After the installation of the new system, the impact test of the transformer of Unit 2, the trial operation of the cooling water pump with load and the arc drawing of the plasma generator were all successful.

According to reports, the successful application of the new system can significantly improve the low-load stable combustion ignition capacity of the boiler, reduce the power consumption of the equipment by 20% to 40%, reduce the weight of the equipment by nearly 80%, and increase the service life of the cathode and anode by more than 3 times. It is more suitable for long-period and low-load stable combustion. Compared with the micro-oil ignition route, this technical route can save 1.6 million yuan in cost per 200h.
