On August 16, BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "BOE") issued a voluntary information disclosure announcement about its subsidiaries affected by power supply.
Recently, subsidiaries of BOE Sichuan region have been informed by relevant departments that in order to ensure the safety of Sichuan power grid and ensure the use of electricity for people's livelihood, enterprises need to make good production adjustments, the notice said. So far, BOE has four semiconductor display production lines in Chengdu and Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, including a 4.5 generation TFT-LCD production line, an 8.6 generation TFT-LCD production line and two 6th generation flexible AMOLED production lines. During this power restriction period, BOE will actively cooperate with the livelihood protection policy, minimize the power load, flexibly arrange the operation of the production line, and fully ensure the delivery of customer products. During this period, BOE will timely carry out routine equipment maintenance on the TFT-LCD production line.
The announcement pointed out that based on the above situation, after evaluation, this power cut will not have a significant adverse impact on the overall operating performance of BOE. BOE will actively maintain good communication with relevant departments on power supply security issues and actively pay attention to the progress of this matter.
