CTOnews.com8, March 17, in order to help Jiangxi build a new highland for the development of the national digital economy and give full play to the role of the information and communication industry in promoting the development of the digital economy, the Jiangxi Provincial Communications Administration recently issued a three-year Action Plan for Jiangxi Province's Information and Communication Industry to promote the Development of the Digital economy (2022-2024).

According to the Jiangxi Provincial Communications Administration, in order to stimulate the new kinetic energy and new vitality of high-quality leapfrog development in Jiangxi Province, the plan has put forward five core objectives, which are:

From 2022 to 2024, the average annual growth rate of telecom services in the province is about 30%.

From 2022 to 2024, the annual investment in fixed assets and R & D exceeded 12 billion yuan.

In 2024, the industry's numeracy ability will double to 3.5EFLOPS.

In 2024, all districts and cities will be built into "gigabit cities".

Every year, there are more than 10 innovative application benchmarks such as 5G, gigabit optical network, industrial Internet and mobile animal networking, and more than 30 provincial pilot demonstration benchmarking.

In addition, the plan points out that in the past three years, Jiangxi Province will implement four major actions, including digital industrial cluster support, digital transformation enabling, scene innovation and application leadership, and digital business environment expansion, to promote ten major projects, such as the global upgrading of "double gigabit" network development, industrial ecological optimization of the Internet of things, file upgrading of 5G integrated applications, artificial intelligence and block chain innovation demonstration, to promote its digital economy development.

CTOnews.com learned that on May 5 this year, the national Internet backbone direct connection point in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province was opened. In the first phase of the direct connection point, the Internet inter-network bandwidth reached 1600GB, ranking eighth in the country, greatly optimizing the quality of inter-network access, and helping to provide a more high-quality and fast Internet experience for Internet users in the province.
