It is reported that the 125W PL1 power and 253W PL2 power limits of the i9-13900K series will remain unchanged, ensuring compatibility with the 600 series motherboards. However, there will be an option to enable 350W mode on some 700 series motherboards, which, of course, requires sufficient heat dissipation. Preliminary tests show that the performance will be improved by 15% in 350W limit performance release mode.
CTOnews.com has reported that previously, testers have manually overclocked the i9-13900K to 345W power, and the Cinebench R23 multi-thread run score reached 40616 points, an increase of 14% over the normal state.
