Apple quietly adjusts its Apple TV + strategy to show at least 20 classic movies / TV dramas
CTOnews.com, Nov. 24-ever since Apple launched Apple TV+, the streaming service has featured original dramas and movies in official propaganda. But Apple recently quietly adjusted its Apple TV+ strategy, with the emergence of a classic playback directory for the first time.
Apple released five classic Sidney Poitier films on Apple TV+ in September to welcome the premiere of Poitier's original play.
CTOnews.com learned that Apple released a film previously played by Jennifer Lawrence on Apple TV+ earlier this month, creating momentum for the original film "Causeway."
As pointed out by foreign science and technology media Techrader, Apple TV+ has quietly expanded the media library for classic playback. For example, some users who search Apple TV+ for "Spirited", "Mythic Quest" and "Causeway" will see some classic movies and TV dramas with related themes.
Among these classic films are classic films such as semi-pro (Semi-Pro), Singles Club (Old School) and Van Wilder. According to the report, there are at least 20 licensed films on Apple TV+. However, these classic playback films are currently limited to the United States, and are not available in other regions. But even if Apple TV + now has a backup directory, Apple doesn't seem to want this to be the platform's main strategy.
