CTOnews.com, November 24, the British Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is investigating Microsoft's acquisition of Blizzard. Sony has once again made it clear that it opposes the acquisition on the grounds of restricting competition and raising the price of game consoles. In the documents submitted by Sony, it said that the number of Microsoft Xbox Game Pass subscribers exceeded 29 million, higher than the 25 million previously announced by Microsoft.

CTOnews.com learned that Sony said: "Xbox Game Pass is clearly ahead of Sony's PlayStation Plus. Microsoft already has a substantial lead in multi-game subscription services. Game Pass has 29 million users in Xbox Game Pass consoles and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and expects significant growth in the future. PlayStation Plus's various game subscription levels are obviously lagging behind and the number of users cannot be compared."

Sony hopes to use the advantages of Xbox Game Pass to portray itself as a weak person, hoping to be recognized by regulators, and eventually prevent Microsoft from buying Activision Blizzard.
