CTOnews.com learned that the project is one of the key new energy development projects in Yunnan Province in 2022, located in Yingjiang County, Dehong Prefecture, Yunnan Province, with a total installed capacity of 150 MW and an area of 3427 mu.

According to the National Energy Group, 50 square arrays are arranged in the photovoltaic field area of the project, which are arranged in a mixed manner of fixed supports and flexible supports, among which the square array of flexible supports exceeds 100 MW, which is the largest single photovoltaic project constructed with flexible supports in Southwest China.

According to reports, the flexible support is to install photovoltaic panels on rows of steel cables, both ends of which are supported by rigid structures. Compared with the traditional fixed support, the flexible support can span ravines, steep slopes, streams and other complex terrains, effectively improve the land utilization rate, and has the advantages of large span, high clearance, good crack resistance, etc., and the bottom farming space is large, which meets the complementary needs of agriculture and light.
