CTOnews.com, November 27, according to the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, 20:23 on November 27, 2022, Beijing time, China successfully launched the remote sensing satellite 36 from the Xichang Satellite launch Center using a long March 2d carrier rocket. The satellite entered the scheduled orbit smoothly, and the launch mission was a complete success. This mission is the 451st flight of the long March series of carrier rockets.

CTOnews.com learned that in the three decades since its first flight in 1992, the Chang Erding rocket has been successfully launched 70 times. The remote sensing satellite 36 launched this time was developed by the Fifth and eighth Academies of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.

The launch is the 13th launch mission of the Chang Erding rocket this year. Previously, the highest number of launches of the rocket was eight times a year. Through a series of technical improvements and process optimization work, the rocket successfully adapted to higher-density launch tasks.
