Musk plans to raise the Twitter character limit from 280to 1000.

According to news on the evening of November 28, Beijing time, Elon Musk (Elon Musk) said today that he plans to raise the Twitter character limit from 280 to 1000.

On Sunday, local time, some Twitter users suggested raising the maximum number of characters per tweet from 280to 1000. Later, Musk replied: "it's already on the to-do list."

Earlier on Sunday, when users suggested that Twitter raise the character limit for each tweet from 280 to 420, Musk responded: "good advice."

In fact, a few days after buying Twitter for $44 billion, Musk said he was open to allowing users to post longer tweets and videos.

The last time Twitter raised the character limit was in 2017, when Twitter raised the character limit from 140 to 280.

Since taking charge of Twitter, Musk has made a series of adjustments to the platform. The most striking of these is the $8 subscription service Twitter Blue, which allows users to post longer videos, see fewer ads, and prioritize posts.
