CDPR confirms that Wizards: remaking will be a completely open world game.

CTOnews.com, November 29 (Xinhua)-- CD Projekt Red has confirmed that it will use Unreal engine 5 to recreate the 2007 Wizard, and that the game will be a completely open-world game.

In October, CD PROJEKT announced that it would work with Fool's Theory Studios to produce a new remake of the Wizard (development code: Canis Majoris).

However, the studio has only previously confirmed that this will be another "mature" wizard game, but since the original version is not an open-world game, there is still speculation about whether "Wizards: remake" will be similar to the 2007 version or closer to "Wizards 3: Hunt."

CD PROJEKT said the game is in the early stages of development and it will take some time to share more details of the game. The project is currently under early development by Polish studio Fool's Theory, which brings together many senior developers of the "wizard" series of games, and CD PROJEKT provides comprehensive creative supervision for the work.

CTOnews.com learned that "the Wizard" was first released in 2007 and is now "particularly well received" by Steam. In the game, the player will play Jelot of Livia, the hunter. As all forces compete for control of the world, intertwined plots involve the protagonists. Players will make difficult choices in this game, accept the corresponding consequences, and devote themselves to an unparalleled legend.

However, the operation mode and picture quality of the game are too old, and now the players' experience is not very good. If the remaking plate can reach the screen and control level of "Wizard 3", it must be able to attract a lot of "Wizard 3" players to play.
