Wang Jiangping, vice minister of industry and information technology, said in his speech that facing the digital era, we should profoundly grasp the development characteristics of the new display industry, adhere to opening up and cooperation, support innovative breakthroughs, and promote the high-quality development of the new display industry. We will thoroughly implement industrial planning, promote the agglomeration and integration of resource elements, guide the rational layout of key areas, enhance the resilience of the industrial chain supply chain, and promote China's new display industry to leap to the middle and high end of the value chain. We will persist in innovation-driven development, make every effort to overcome the key core technologies in the new display field, and speed up the cultivation of new technologies, new products, new business type, and new models. Give full play to the role of display enabling, meet the needs of the development of digital economy, grasp the direction of digitalization, networking and intelligence, and improve the economic development level of display technology empowerment.
