CTOnews.com news on December 1, the animated movie Dragon Horse! The New Tennis Prince is scheduled to be released in mainland China on December 23. This is the first 3DCG theatrical version of the Prince of Tennis.

CTOnews.com learned that the film, directed by Kanashi Hiroshi and dubbed by Junko Minagawa (Ryoma Echizen), Eagio Matsuyama (Namajiro) and Miyako Takahashi (Takasaki Sakurano), was released in Japan on September 3, 2021.

Synopsis:

In order to improve his skills, Longma came to the United States alone. In a street match, Longma unexpectedly went back to the past and was able to appreciate the heroic posture of his father dominating the tennis court when he was young. The two encouraged each other and made progress together.

However, his partner, Ryuzaki, was kidnapped by mysterious forces. In the process of rescuing his companions, Rongma and his father accidentally found that the enemy was also a tennis master, and a game of tennis hegemony that went to other places to test family affection officially began.

"Prince of Tennis" is a sports-themed cartoon by Japanese cartoonist Xu Feigang. The work was serialized on the 32th issue of JUMP Weekly in 1999 and ended on the 14th of 2008. The following chapter, the New Prince of Tennis, was serialized on JUMP SQUARE in 2009.
