At the forum, the Electronic Information Research Institute of China Electronic Information Industry Development Research Institute issued the White Paper on the Development of Ultra High definition Video Industry (2022) for the first time. The white paper predicts that the overall scale of China's UHD video industry will exceed 3 trillion yuan in 2022.

In 2021, China shipped 27.29 million 4K TVs, with a penetration rate of 71.1%.

As of August this year, the number of gigabit broadband users in China has reached 70.55 million, accounting for 93.8% of the total.

The white paper specifically mentioned that Sichuan has become one of the provinces with the most complete ultra-high-definition video industry chain in the country, the technical level of ultra-high-definition video recording and editing equipment, industrial scale and market share are the first in the country, the production of ultra-high-definition video content is the leading in China, and the number of IPTV (interactive network TV) users is the first in the country.
