CTOnews.com PlayStation Partner Awards 2022 Japan Asia was held today to recognize creators 'creative activities and award popular games released for PlayStation, marking its 28th year.

The Grand Prize was awarded jointly by Original God and Elden Dharma Ring. The award is awarded to the top two global sales projects of developers in Japan and other Asian regions between October 2021 and September 2022.

PARTNER AWARD The PARTNER AWARD recognizes developers in Japan and other Asian regions who have achieved outstanding global sales from October 2021 to September 2022.

Winners for the 2022 Partner Awards include Ghostbusters, GameKing: Master Duel, Final Fantasy XIV, Mobile Suit Gundam: Combat Operation 2, Resident Evil: Village.

USERS'CHOICE AWARD The USERS'CHOICE AWARD will be awarded to the top five entries voted by Japanese and other Asian players from the top 30 entries in total game time for the year.

Winners of the 2022 User Choice Awards include Elden's Circle, Earth Defense Force 6, Lost Stray, Strangers in Heaven: Origins of Final Fantasy, and Ghost Line: Tokyo.

SPECIAL AWARD Special Award recognizes the work of developers in Japan and other Asian regions (top selling in Japan and other Asian regions), as well as the work developed in cooperation with SIE Global Studios and top selling in the world.

The 2022 Special Prize winners include Apex Heroes and GT Racing 7.

CTOnews.com understands that this is the second time that Original God has won the "Grand Prize" from Sony PlayStation officials. Last year, Original God also won the award with the first ranking.
