CTOnews.com, December 3, the CEO of ISORG said in a recent interview that Samsung is developing a new generation of OLED screens, which can not only identify fingerprints in full-screen areas, but also identify three fingerprints at the same time, greatly increasing the security of mobile phones.

CTOnews.com learned that at the IMID conference a few months ago, Samsung announced that it was developing OLED 2.0 next-generation screens and would integrate an integrated fingerprint sensing solution. Through the deployment of this technology, Galaxy series of smartphones and tablets can achieve multiple fingerprint recognition.

Samsung shows that compared with the current single fingerprint identification method, the security of using three fingerprints at the same time can be improved by 2.5 × 10 ^ 9 (2.5 billion) times. And the fingerprint recognition area covers the entire screen, so future users no longer need to put their fingerprints in a fixed area below to identify them.

Samsung has not yet disclosed the exact time, but will be the first to be equipped in the flagship of the Galaxy S series in the future. ISORG believes its OPD (organic photodiode) multi-fingerprint scanning technology is ready, adding that Samsung may use similar materials and processes in OLED 2.0 All-in-One fingerprint scanners. The CEO of ISORG predicts that Samsung will launch its multi-fingerprint scanning technology in 2025.
