ASML's new plant in Taiwan, which is expected to start in July next year, is the company's largest local investment and plans to bring the European supply chain to Taiwan.

Taiwan media pointed out that the European supply chain brought about by ASML will land in Linkou, an R & D center, and Guishan in Taoyuan. In the future, it will not be ruled out that they will land in Hsinchu, Taichung, and Tainan one after another in the same mode. In addition, ASML brings mainly equipment maintenance and assembly.

Data show that in the third quarter of 2022, ASML achieved net sales of 5.8 billion euros (about 42.572 billion yuan), gross profit of 51.8 percent and net profit of 1.7 billion euros (about 12.478 billion yuan).

CTOnews.com has learned that ASML expects net sales of about 6.1 billion to 6.6 billion euros (about 48.378 billion yuan) in the fourth quarter of 2022, with a gross profit margin of about 49 percent. Based on the median expected for the fourth quarter, revenue is expected to be about 21.1 billion euros (154.874 billion yuan) in 2022.
