Intel is trying to improve its manufacturing capacity as it grapples with falling revenues and a sharp drop in demand for personal computers, with PC accounting for more than half of its sales. The company said in October that actions, including layoffs and slowing spending on new plants, would save $3 billion next year and increase annual cuts to $10 billion by the end of 2025.
