You can "gang up". Microsoft Teams introduces Communities community features.

CTOnews.com, December 8 (Xinhua)-- Microsoft announced on Wednesday the introduction of Communities for Microsoft Teams to broaden the social elements of the communication tool. Teams users allow users to create communities for specific groups, such as leisure sports teams, event planning committees, parent-teacher associations, small businesses, etc.

CTOnews.com learned that Microsoft wants to provide more value to its users in addition to building Microsoft Teams into a sophisticated communication application for professionals. Through community capabilities, Microsoft hopes to extend its reach to a variety of industries.

In terms of Communities functions, Microsoft not only supports video / voice calls and private chats of community members, but also has access to event scheduling, attendance tracking, visual map location sharing, group calendars and file / photo sharing. In 2023, Microsoft plans to further enrich this feature by introducing SignUpGenius, which will make it more community-friendly through volunteer management and event planning.

Joining Communities requires only a free Microsoft account, which is attractive to those who already have an account. This feature is open to free Microsoft Teams members.
